Naturgy (formerly Gas Natural Fenosa) is a private Spanish company dedicated to the commercialization of natural gas and electricity.

⟶ Client’s Needs

In the case of Naturgy, employees access the parking lot using both license plate recognition and access control cards from the current system. Therefore, Naturgy requires an access control system that can integrate with identity management platforms.

⟶ Solution Technology

After a thorough analysis of the facilities, Innova has decided to implement SIRAM OCR5, which allows dynamic entry and exit of employees based on their vehicle’s license plate. It enables the definition of authorized groups, assignment to different access lanes, definition of time slots for each group, and limitation of the number of spaces per group.

In this project, a system has been implemented to manage the number of available parking spaces for each employee group. This allows real-time management of space availability per group, while also displaying this information on an information panel at the entrance, enabling authorized users to check parking availability in advance.
