The DGA of El Salvador needed to have a reliable and robust access control system, while guaranteeing full integration with the DGA Database in order to be able to carry out queries in real time to detect possible irregularities at the crossing. customs.

⟶ Solution Technology

Taking into account the needs of the DGA of El Salvador, both for vehicle access control at border posts, as well as integration into its customs management system, at Innova we have designed a solution that combines our technology with the DGA database. Through this technological implementation of customs access control, it has been possible to automate and standardize the customs procedure process using SIRAM for the automatic recognition of the license plate of the tractor unit and trailer, and its subsequent insertion in the central database of the DGA of El Salvador.

• Automatic and real-time registration of all types of vehicles
• Synchronization in real time with the central database of the DGA to carry out the electronic consultation of the customs forms through the license plates of the truck and/or vehicle.
• Automation of the process of inserting the license plate number in the weighing register of goods transport vehicles.
• Management of transit times of goods between the customs of the country.

For the installation to function perfectly, the different customs offices have had to adapt the capture units to the different types of existing lanes.
