ALPR Access Control Solution: Iberia Headquarters (IAG)

Project Details

Client: Iberia

Solution: Access Control

Technology: #OCR5 #ALPRCameras

⟶ Iberia Headquarters: ALPR Access Control Technology

The industrial area of the airline Iberia, which has been the corporate headquarters of the IAG aviation group since 2013, has been equipped with our Automatic License Plate Recognition system (SIRAM) for vehicle access control since 2006.

⟶ Client’s Needs

Iberia needed a vehicle access control system based on license plate recognition, allowing for the automation of vehicle access and the monitoring of their movement.

⟶ Solution Technology

Taking into account the needs of Iberia’s industrial area, including the automatic access control for employee vehicles and ensuring the security of the premises and surroundings, Innova has designed a solution that combines our ANPR Suite SIRAM technology and SIRAM Totem capture units.

An important factor in this installation is the speed and reliability of the SIRAM OCR license plate recognition system, as the entry and exit accesses for thousands of employees are concentrated within very short time frames. It is essential that the SIRAM license plate recognition solution operates quickly and effectively resolves situations involving potential plate concealment. The facilities of Iberia in the La Muñoza Industrial Zone (Madrid) require capture units that can provide efficient license plate reading in high-traffic access points. To achieve this, the ANPR SIRAM Totem capture unit has been chosen, considering its strategic location in the lanes.
