What is OCR7 Booster?
Booster is a mode that can be activated from the OCR7 configuration, our ALPR software. This new advanced feature adds recognition capability to the engine, increasing the hit rate by up to an additional +2%.
How does OCR7 Booster work? In practice, it acts as a second verification of the reading, activating an additional layer of redundancy in the recognition process. When a license plate is difficult to read, the system allocates more resources to resolve it.
This feature is particularly valuable in demanding environments, such as ticketless or barrierless systems.
