On July 16, Barcelona de Serveis Municipals (BSM) launched its new parking model with the reopening of the BSM Litoral Port parking lot. This parking facility stands out for incorporating innovative technologies that significantly improve the user experience, such as electric vehicle charging stations, bicycle parking spaces, parcel collection points, and a ticketless system for users registered in SMOU.

SIRAM OCR5: Efficient Parking Management

The BSM Litoral Port parking lot features the advanced OCR5 and TwinPlate technology from Innova, particularly noted for its ability to operate ticketless thanks to license plate reading and the free flow of cars and motorcycles. Thanks to our technology and its integration capability, SMOU-registered users and subscribers can access the parking lot without having to take a ticket at the entrance. The convenience of the ticketless system is especially appreciated by motorcycle users who no longer need to stop on the ramp to collect a ticket. With this installation, there are now 19 BSM parking lots featuring this ticketless functionality.
