SIRAM ACCESS CONTROL SUITE

The intelligent automatic number plate recognition system (SIRAM) allows for the automatic identification
of the vehicles accessing the different types of car parks, entering controlled access areas or being driven in a particular lane.

For this, the system stores each movement in a log with the following information: number plate recognised, date and time of movement, lane in which the movement occurs and the image associated with the movement.

SIRAM SECURITY

SIRAM is a very useful tool in relation to the security of people and property, traffic management and the management of restricted access to complexes or urban areas. There is also the option to have other optional modules of the Suite that provide specific solutions for particular scenarios.

Some of these solutions are related to the management of cross-arrow signs for the opening or closing of lanes in logistics parks, the management of available spaces in stock and their display on information panels, the control of space/full signs, the management of lorry lanes with more tan one number plate, the regulation of bidirectional lanes through traffic lights and the transmission of alarms to remote control posts or by email.

SIRAM ACCESS CONTROL SUITE v3

The SIRAM Suite v.3 is a vehicle access control platform based on the latest automatic number plate recognition technology.

The design follows a modular and scalable architecture in order to provide a versatile, distributed and robust application. The complete system consists of the following software elements:

 

OCR SOFTWARE. (SIRAM OCR - SiramN.exe)

This is the software that allows for the automatic recognition of number plates for each capture unit.

I/O CONTROL SOFTWARE. (SIRAM CTRL - SiramCtrlN.exe)

This software supervises the control electronics (SIRAM CONEX).

CLEANER SOFTWARE. (SIRAM CLEANER - SiramCleaner.exe)

This is the software that cleans the images and all the records in the database that have expired.

VIEWER SOFTWARE. (SIRAM VIEWER - Siram.exe)

This allows the live viewing of each lane and the control of its barriers.

MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE. (SIRAM MANAGEMENT - SiramManagement.exe)

This is the software that controls the database, allowing records to be added and removed, black lists and searches.

WATCHDOG SOFTWARE. (SIRAM CONTROL - ControlSiram.exe)

This is the software responsable for the implementation and monitoring of all the Siram Suite processes.

DB SYNCHRONISATION SOFTWARE. (SIRAM SYNC - SiramSync.exe)

This is the software responsible for the synchronization of the different databases of the Suite 3.3.

FEATURES

Siram Suite v.3 for vehicle access control incorporates the following features:

  • Real-time visualisation of the access points associated with it on each PC
  • Management of multiple authorised groups. Registration, removal, assignment of time slots, assignment of multiple vehicles, expiry and number of spaces.
  • Management of a Black List. Registrations, removals and modifications.
  • Time slots for authorised individuals.
  • Authorised groups in each lane configurable.
  • Management of the number of spaces for authorised individuals and groups.
  • A single stock.
  • Multiple user profiles. Assignment of privileges and groups that can be managed.
  • Attended and unattended operating mode.
  • Incident management by an operator.
  • It allows manual movements to be created in the DB.
  • Control of barriers from the software. Automatic opening according to authorisation, manual opening and locking of the barrier at open or closed.
  • Management of the total number of spaces in the car park stock.
  • It allows a picture from up to three cameras associated with a lane.
  • Searches of movements, groups (authorised, visits and blacklists), time of stay or vehicles inside the area).

FEATURES IN ADDITION TO ACCESS CONTROL

As well as incorporating the features described above, the SIRAM Suite v.3 for vehicle access control also has other optional modules which allow it to provide solutions for specific needs.

The software modules associated with the SIRAM Suite v.3 are the following:

DATABASE POPULATING SOFTWARE

(EXCEL to SIRAM – ExcelToSiram). This tool that comes with the Siram Suite allows for the mass population of the Tables of Authorised Vehicles from a template in Excel format. This software saves time in the process of the registration of those authorised in Siram, since it is not necessary to do so one by one.

ALARMS NOTIFICATION SOFTWARE

(SIRAM ALARM EMAIL – SiramAlarm.exe – SiramEmail.exe). Application that replicates the alarms produced on the server by sending them to different computers in the network, and displays the image and type of incident, offering the option to resolve this alarm. Another feature that it incorporates is the sending of these alarms by e-mail to one or more previously configured email accounts.
The Siram Alarm Email application consists of the display module (SiramAlarm.exe) and the email sending module (SiramEmail.exe).

FREE SPACES MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

(SIRAM STOCK PANELS – SiramStock.exe). Software module that counts the free spaces per group and sends the results obtained to an information panel. It’s possible to do the modification of the number of spaces occupied in real-time. (Ask for the brand of integrated panels).

OPEN / CLOSED LANE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

(SIRAM ASPAS – SiramAspas.exe). Application that allows open or close lanes from the Siram Viewer. The “open” status activates the arrow in the cross/arrow panel, while the “closed” status activates the cross on that panel. An additional CONEX IP is necessary for connecting the cross/arrow signs.

SPACE/ FULL SIGN MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

(SIRAM COUNTER – SiramCounter.exe). This is a system of counting and sending a signal to the SPACE/FULL sign or a traffic light. The software can control up to two entrances and two exits, although It is necessary to connect the loops of the barriers to a CONEX IP.

SOFTWARE FOR BIDIRECTIONAL LANES

(SIRAM SEMAPHORES – SiramSemaforos.exe). Software to manage a BIDIRECTIONAL Access point using traffic lights. A CONEXIP02 is necessary.

SOFTWARE FOR CARS AND MOTORCYCLES LANES

(SIRAM TWINPLATE- SiramTwinplate.exe). Software to manage the capture of two cameras for the same lane. This software can be used for car and motorcycle lanes, or for countries where there are reflective and non-reflective plates.

SOFTWARE FOR LORRY LANES WITH FRONT AND BACK READING

(SIRAM MULTICAMLANE.exe). Software to manage the capture of up to three cameras in the same truck lane. This software allows the three license plates to be stored together as a single record in the truck movement table of the SIRAM DB.

OPERATING MODES

 – Attended (incident resolution):
  • Stock Exceeded.
  • Blacklisted Vehicle.
  • Vehicle belonging to a group not authorised for the lane.
  • Vehicle that is not in DB (visits group) and is not authorised for the lane.
  • Blank number plate (image without number plate).
  • Authorisation expired.
  • Authorised outside timeslot.
  • Group outside timeslot.
  • Group without free spaces.
  • Authorised without free spaces.

– Unattended:

  • Automatic opening only to those authorised and/or visiting.
  • Automatic opening to all vehicles entering and/or exiting.
